Default Network Settings Question

Yea I just got 2.0 and went to open a browser and couldnt cause I have no access points in my area... I was thinkin is it possible to connect my psp to the internet or whatever through my little cable i use? I dont have a wireless router so that dont help either i know. If its not possible any other way then with a wireless router then can u tell me which one would be best for a 4.0 + mbs connection "cable"? Send me email ro whatever reply u know the drill.

No, it is not possible w/out a wireless router. no you cannot get on the internet using your usb cable, because for it to activate, the psp must be in usb mode, and you cannot perform any operations on the actual psp while in usb mode

i think sony will eventually release an update allowing you to go on the internet using the usb...only a matter of time.

No matter how fast your speed is a access point or router will make it goto 100mbps non-wirelessly and there are different speeds depending on the letter association. A wireless B goes about 11mbps @ 2.5 GHz, wireless A 11mbps @ 5.0GHz, and wireless G 54mbps @ 2.5GHz. Just check online at places like bestbuy and circuit city for the cheapest price model.
