Let's start by quoting another members way of entering the internal mac menu of the router...

first! look at your router ....on the bottom of my router (netgear) it has my model version [WGR614] and firmware [v5] and it tells me my default access [is
http://192.168..1.1 for me] under that it even tell me my default user name an password.... sometimes you just have to look under your router for the answer. now step-by-step...
1. turn on your hardwired computer. [must be hardwired= has a ethernet cable to your wireless router]
2. open your internet browser
3. first try entering 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.1.100 as an IP
If this works you will get a prompt that says enter user name and password... go to step 5... if it didn't work go to step 4
4. look at your router again to get your model number and try to find the manufacturer's website like www. netgear.com or
www.linksys.com [then go to there support section and look for it] or if that does work try to google the address... type something like netgear MAC address [for me it is netgear for you it is whatever your router is].
5. now you have the prompt for you username and PW the defaults are often User name: admin and PW: password or whatever the user name and PW the person who set up your router put on it (you should ask them)...
6. if everything has gone right you will be in the router's internal menu and look for the wireless settings [or just look around for the proper settings] ... that is were you can view and edit your WEP and WPA protection keys.
7. write down your keys... WEP gives 4 keys, you only need #1. For WPA you just need your password (I assume you entered one and can remember it)
8. put the WEP key on the PSP. Okay.. now I assume you can figure out how to put that into your PSP. With that I am done....
9. use your PSP to browse the net! YAY!
Good Luck
