Old Problems playing Ad Hoc w/KillZone Liberation, Lumines, and GTA: Liberty City Stories 12-10-2006, 04:41 PM   #1 (permalink)

Default Problems playing Ad Hoc w/KillZone Liberation, Lumines, and GTA: Liberty City Stories

I have two PSPs. One is FW 1.5 with Dev Hook 0.46 and 0.51 installed. The other PSP is a FW 2.8.

I have the ISOs for Killzone: Liberation, Lumines, and GTA: Liberty City Stories for the 1.5 one. I also have the real UMD discs for the other PSP. And, when I put the real UMD in my other PSP and to try and play multiplayer (via Ad hoc) it just doesn't work!

Here are the problems:

1. Killzone-the host is permanently waiting for other players, while the joiner is permanently waiting for the host to finish creating the game.

2. Lumines-no games show up on either screens.

3. GTA: Liberty City-the PSPs keep losing connection w/ each other.

However, I have gotten Burnout: Legends to work properly on both PSPs. I'm thinking that maybe it has something to do with the different loading times.

I have this problem with Star Wars Battlefront 2 and GTA LCS. In GTA the psp with the ISO loads faster than the one running the UMD and as soon as the one with the UMD finishes loading, the one with the connection is lost. I am running 3.03-OE-C.
